Jim McGurren, CPA, CFP®
President
Chief Investment Officer
Jim founded Dartmouth Advisory Services in 1992 to provide family-office type services to individuals and families. Jim was engaged in the practice of Public Accounting for over 25 years as a name partner of a regional accounting firm and specialized in tax and financial planning for the affluent. He also provided financial advisory and consulting services for complex financial transactions and strategies to middle-market clients.
As President, Jim defines and directs our team’s implementation of personalized wealth management, investment and life planning strategies for our clients. He has a multi-disciplinary background in areas such as investments, financial planning, taxation, financial accounting, litigation support and corporate advisory services and provides our clients with comprehensive and integrated financial advice and services from a team of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of our clients. Jim is a graduate of Fordham University with a B.S. in Accounting.
Neal Kilbane
Senior Advisor
As Senior Advisor with Dartmouth Advisory Services, Neal is involved in developing strategic initiatives for our company. Neal focuses on private equity opportunities and business advisory relationships with corporate clients. His areas of expertise include real estate and financial services. Neal’s background includes over 25 years in public accounting, including serving as a name partner in a regional accounting firm, as well as serving as the chief financial officer of a New York City real estate company. He earned a B.B.A. degree from Hofstra University.
Marie Silecchia
Supervisor of Client Services
Marketing
Marie joined Dartmouth Advisory Services in 2005 with over 20 years experience in the financial services industry and is Supervisor of Client Services. Marie also manages the marketing and public relations for the firm. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Marie worked at Merrill Lynch where she held various positions including Vice President in Marketing Communications focusing on asset allocation and diversification strategies, VP in Finance for Individual Investment Products and Compliance Officer for the Cash Management Account. Marie also worked as a tax preparer and has held the NASD Series 7 and NYSE Branch Office Manager certifications.
Debbie McGurren
Chief Financial Officer
Debbie serves as Chief Financial Officer of Dartmouth Advisory Services. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Debbie was a professional associate at a public accounting firm followed by serving as the Chief Financial Officer of a major New York City real estate company for eight years. Debbie is a graduate of CUNY-Queens College with a B.A. in Accounting.
